Corporate Executive Board to Open Regional Office in Sydney, Australia in Early 2008

WASHINGTON & SYDNEY, Australia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 5, 2007--The Corporate Executive Board (CEB) (NASDAQ: EXBD) a Washington DC-based provider of quantitative and best practice benchmarking, on-line decision support services and executive education to 15,000 executives at 3,700 organisations around the world, announced plans for its official opening of a regional office in Sydney, Australia in early 2008.

CEB has a long history of service to the region, with relationships dating back to 1989. It now serves more than 150 organisations and 560 executives in Australia and New Zealand, with rapidly expanding service to companies in greater Asia-Pacific.

Tom Honan, CFO of Computershare and President of Australia's CFO Group of 100 network notes the, "unique value that CEB provides in boosting the Computershare Finance team's effectiveness by teaching us the best new thinking and strategies from across industry and around the world...and for a fraction of the cost of a consulting firm." In recent years, CEB has assisted its members in areas that include Developing a Compelling Employment Brand, Boosting Sales Force Productivity, Aligning IT with Corporate Strategy, Corporate Governance and Sustainability.

Sydney-based staffing of CEB's account service teams (supporting the 40+ industry and functional areas covered by the firm's offerings) begins in February 2008 at their Bridge Street location. The company seeks to increase its value to members and further deepen its relationships with "in time-zone" and in-person service support as well as improved network opportunities for its members.

"We are delighted to add Sydney to our list of global offices, which now includes Washington, DC, London, New Delhi, Chicago and San Francisco. We value greatly our long history of serving executives in Australia and New Zealand, and look forward to a continued close partnership with our members in the region now made easier by our proximity. I have asked Executive Director, Christy Forest, who has previously run CEB's Member Services Global operation and new business development, to consolidate and grow our service to members in Asia-Pacific. A proven customer strategist and builder of teams, Christy will dedicate herself to expanding CEB's support to companies and their executives in the region," said Thomas L Monahan III, CEO of the Corporate Executive Board.

Ms. Forest notes that, "Opening the office is exciting for me as I helped forge some of CEB's earliest relationships in this region. I am honoured to build the local teams that will engage with member executives to increase our impact on their businesses and grow our relationships in the region."
