Corporate Executive Board Launches the Executive Productivity Network (EPN™)

The EPN Provides Immediate, Relevant, Actionable Advice from Thousands of Senior Executives Within the World's Leading Companies

WASHINGTON D.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 19, 2007--The Corporate Executive Board® (NASDAQ: EXBD) today announced that members will now be able to secure and provide actionable advice using its newly launched Executive Productivity Network ("The EPN"). The EPN will offer senior executives a channel through which they can have their most urgent questions answered through quick access to their peers. Access to The EPN is included with all Corporate Executive Board membership programs.

The EPN provides a repository of rich, online executive profiles, and a set of broadcast and interactive communications channels that enable members to share experiences intuitively and on-demand. The EPN enables senior executives to instantly tap into the hundreds of millions of hours of experience gained by other leading executives that are or have been members of the Corporate Executive Board's programs.

"Our members need to answer questions ranging from, 'What should I do about private-equity at the front door' to 'which vendor is best for what I need?'" said Scott Bohannon, General Manager of Member Services. "Senior executives do not have time for the spam and solicitations bundled with online social networks. The EPN delivers what they need, without the hassle."

"Senior executives have been sharing very positive feedback about The Executive Productivity network," said Tom Monahan, Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Executive Board. "We believe The EPN has the potential to substantially increase the effectiveness of executives and their enterprises."

Executives can choose to solicit advice (anonymously, if preferred) through one of two means: First, they can contact The Experience Desk -an "on-call" service staffed by their executive peers. Second, they can search The Experience Profiles, a highly secure rolodex of tens of thousands of the world's most successful executives -to determine who is best able to answer their questions. They can then eMail the executive directly or tap Corporate Executive Board staff members who are available to facilitate the exchanges as executives deem appropriate.

Those members who register for the Executive Productivity Network by the end of June will be invited to participate in the company's cross-functional, cost-reduction cohort. Additionally, executives that join before the end of June, will receive "Transition Insurance" that will allow them to continue accessing The EPN's services for up to one year after any departure from their current organization.
